Grim Systems is owned and operated by two Mid Michigan natives serving Isabella, Midland, and Clare counties: no franchise, no call center, no account rep in another state.
Corey Grim
Co-Owner
Corey spent over 13 years as Director of Technology for Shepherd Public Schools, and brings 25+ years in technology leadership to Grim Systems. He led district-wide technology strategy, infrastructure, and cybersecurity long before starting this company. He built Grim Systems to bring that same proactive, security-first, personally accountable approach to Mid Michigan businesses that bigger providers can't match.
Phillip Grim
Co-Owner
Phillip brings an engineering background to Grim Systems: project engineering roles at Eckhart and Robinson Industries, technical support work on CAD/PLM systems, and years teaching as an adjunct and now Assistant Professor at Ferris State University. He's also a small business owner himself, co-running Grim Printing in Shepherd. That mix of hands-on engineering, teaching, and ownership experience shapes how he approaches a client's problem: methodically, and focused on what actually needs fixing.
